Looking through some cake photos on the web with my sister months ago, we came across a cake that someone had made that looked like a camera. My sister having a love for photography, told me I should make her such a cake. I'm not too sure she was expecting me to do it, but along with helping organize a surprise 30th birthday party for her and other birthday surprises, I made her the camera cake, that resembled her Nikon camera and the flowery camera strap she has.
Here it is...
The camera is made of molded rice crispy treat covered in fondant.

The picture was painted to resemble a picture she had recently took
(and probably would've looked better had I painted it at a decent hour, not 4am :)
For the most part, all went as planned. Maybe would've added more flowers if given some more time. But I'm very happy with it.
